Lucha Rodriguez

Born in Caracas, Venezuela. The theme of her work is recently seen a shift from the human body and existence to an exploration of ideas of abstraction, replication, and separation. Concentration and flow of repetitive patterns engulf her current thoughts and framework. Rodriguez is predominantly recognized for her site-specific paper installations, however, she has explored a variety of media including copper, textiles, paint, plexiglass, and even sound.

She has exhibited globally in countries such as India, Mexico, China, and France. Her work can be found in the Modern and Contemporary Art Collection of The High Museum of Art, in addition to various private, institutional, and individual collections.

Rodriguez lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia.
